good vacuum cleaner for this??? I'm looking for a strong vacuum cleaner to pick up his long hair that is strong, reasonably priced (don't want to break the bank), and will last and do the job we need it to do. The one I have now gets his long hair caught all around the roller. It didn't use to do that. It's just time to invest into a new one that will work well.

ANY SUGGESTIONS??

I have your answer, the DYSON VACUUM CLEANER, there are different ones so get the one specifcally for animals, it is 550$, I have one and it is so good I should buy stock in the company, you will never need another vacuum again

Go with the Dyson, it worked wonders with our Golden. A little pricey but worth it and they will last you a long time.
