Just bought a used rainbow d3 series on ebay and no manual...of course...my question is there is a lot of air coming out of a hole in the cannister, maybe i am blowing out instead of sucking in? where exactly should I connect the hose? there are two round holes...sorry for being such an idiot but I dont have any experience with the rainbow. thanks!

Your hose connects to the lower opening, the upper opening is the exhaust and it's normal that you get air blow from there (all though there is usually a cap that covers it up)
