Hi, I'm kinda new to the forum and would just like to introduce myself. I live in sunny Florida. I worked in a vacuum store for many years and I've owned many of the high end vacuums out there so if anyone needs any advice or help with a type of vacuum cleaner, please let me know. Out of all the vacuums I've owned, the Kirby pulls the most dirt out of the carpet. But beware, it DOES NOT like throw rugs. It comes with many many attachments and in my opinion has one of the best carpet shampoo methods out there. So, I have a new Sentria model sitting in my closet right now. I also own an old Panasonic Dual Sweep canister with a power nozzle, but I might be selling it soon on eBay. I don't use it very much. OK, bye for now. Rob

My name is Ikenbeea Suckarupparar and I haved lived a very tough life. Vacuum cleaners that have resided where I do now haven't been able to deal with the struggles of living with messy tenants and I have to admit, I'm not finding it easy either. I'm not industrial you know! If only my owner could hear the cries as another glass shard slides down my hose and into my belly; a belly that is already over packed with hair, fluff, beads and cereals. Not to mention the wine that is carelessly spilt on me on a regular basis. That is why I'm particularly interested in vacuum cleaner maintenance and hopefully your forum will provide what I'm after. - Mr Suckarupparar

Hi, I have a new rainbow platinum & cannot get the electrified hose attached correctly in order for my power nozzle to work. Any suggestions?? Right now I'm wishing I had just got my old D4 fixed. Reps tell me the hose needs to go in on an angle to line up the prongs correctly but that's not working either.Thanks, Jackie
